The HB-4816 metal bending brake is designed and built with quality in mind as you can tell in a second when you look at the finish of the machine. The rugged frame consists of heavy plate steel that is electro welded to more support beams. To make this straight brake even more rigid there are solid truss rods adding support to the beam and lower apron to reduce any possible flex. The upper beam houses the die that has been induction hardened for years of tight creases. This metal bending brake has two beam arms on cams for lifting and dropping the beam to clamp the sheet metal. This straight brake has a heavy counter weight that can be adjusted for different materials. The blade gap can be adjusted easily as well from left to right. A stop rod adjustment is standard to allow the operator to get repeatable bend angles with ease. The maximum bend angle is 135 degrees. The angle bar that is attached to the apron can be removed to allow the user to get very tight between bends. Baileigh sheet metal bending brakes are typically in stock for quick shipments.
