To better understand the differences in how single bevel and double bevel broadheads perform inside animals, we performed a ballistic gel broadhead test with the Iron Will Single Bevel 100 and Iron Will S100 broadheads.

For a broadhead that rotates like a screw through the animal, choose a single bevel. For a broadhead that hammers like a nail through the animal, choose a double bevel.

Whether a compound or trad bow hunter, or whether shooting light or heavy arrows, understanding how your broadhead performs inside the animal is an important element of building an arrow setup that's as reliable as science allows.
