India, China Abstain From UNGA Vote Demanding “Immediate Withdrawal” of Ukraine By Russia
India and China were among the 32 countries that abstained from a United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) vote calling for “immediate withdrawal” of Ukraine by Russian forces, ahead on the war’s first anniversary. While abstaining from the vote, India doubled-down on its demand of advocating peace through diplomatic channels.
