This is what I use for hairspray, it's two ingredients - sugar and water. It holds as well as store bought, without all the sh*t in it. This recipe is suited for a strong, lasting hold. You can adjust the amount of sugar to suit your needs (more sugar = more hold)

Recipe
1 Cup Water
4 tbsp Sugar

Instructions
Dissolve sugar in water
Spray in hair
