The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) is an internationally recognised higher education institution that trains artists for professional careers in music, theatre, dance, and film. Founded in 1933, the Academy currently hosts about 1,000 students in three levels – Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral studies – in three faculties, two of which are based in Vilnius, one in Klaipėda.
