Walking at dusk in late 2021, I became fascinated by the impression of small changes in nature and how minute adjustments in details allow something to become almost completely new, yet still be the same. Think Monet’s water lilies series. In "moving still," the same two pitches are repeated throughout the work, an ostinato. This creates the feeling of not moving, yet as you’ll see, moving still travels far. Written in late 2021 and featured on the 2022 album "honey cadence" (Tiger Turn 888-08) Aaron Larget-Caplan searches for the life in music & music in life as a guitarist, composer, arranger, and educator. His ten albums have earned over 6 million streams since 2021. Raised in Colorado he makes his home in Boston.
