Factory configuration on Audi A6, MY2011 doesn’t allow rear parking lights to work as day-time-running (DRL) lights. This can be a big problems for vehicles that are not equipped with rain sensor, since they rear parking lights are not turned on on dark places (for example, tunnels; etc), if the driver forgets to manually turn them on. With activation of rear parking lights as DRL lights this safety threat is avoided.

Pri tovarniški nastavitvi zadnje parkirne luči pri Audiju A6 letnik 2011 ne delujejo v funkciji dnevnih žarometov. To predstavlja veliko težavo pri vozilih, ki niso opremljena s senzorjem za dež, saj je avtomobil v tunelih, itd. od zadaj neosvetljen, če voznik pozabi ročno vključiti kratke žaromete. Z vključitvijo zadnjih parkirnih luči v funkciji dnevnih žarometov se temu izognete.
