Chicken Gyoza is a crispy and tasty #MomoRecipe from Asian Cuisine. This #ChickenGyoza is made with minced chicken, maida, sesame oil and are pan-fried. You can now make this #PanfriedMomo with Cookd's simple recipe. Do try this recipe and share your feedback with us.
Pan Fried Chicken Momo Recipe:
Dough:
Maida (All Purpose Flour) - 2 Cups
Water (lukewarm) - ¾ Cup
Salt - ¼ tsp
Corn Starch - For Rolling
Filling:
Chicken Mince - 200 gms
Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
Spring Onion - 2 nos
Ginger - 1 inch
Garlic - 4 nos
Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp
White Pepper - ¼ tsp
For Cooking:
Oil - 1 tbsp
Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
Water - 3 tbsp
Spring Onion (chopped) - For Garnish
Cooking Instructions:
1. Knead a soft dough using the lukewarm water, salt and maida. Rest it for 20 mins.
2. For the filling: combine all the ingredients and mix well.
3. Roll out the dough into flat discs using cornstarch to prevent sticking, use a round cutter for getting even-sized discs.
4. Place a tsp of mixture in each and seal using water.
5. Heat a pan with a tbsp of oil and a tsp sesame oil and sear one side of the gyoza for 2 minutes, until golden.
6. Add 3 tbsp of water to the pan, close and steam for 4 minutes. Open and cook to evaporate any remaining water.
7. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
