Author, humorist and radio host of A Prairie Home Companion, Garrison Keillor stood on Kanbar stage on November 7 and shared stories through his new collection of original poems, O, What a Luxury. His performance was much like an hour of stand-up, though it felt less rehearsed, which added to its charm. He included some sweet bits about why he loves San Francisco and some amusing vignettes on his life, and the long road to writing this collection. Interspersed throughout, he recited poems, including one on the joy of urination and fatherhood. It felt very much like a full circle moment for him. A joy.
