This is a perfect example of why I don't like when turn signals are encouraged at HPDEs. The driver in the Porsche accidentally signals, and I have to slam on my brakes to avoid being pinched.

If you watch closely, you'll see a brief signal to the right as he cancels the left signal, Then as he cancels the right signal, he accidentally signals left. As I was setting up for the pass, I, unfortunately, didn't notice the brief right signal and was about to take the pass. (I know most of the time it's not worth passing in the esses, but this pass would have been completed before it was a problem.)

BTW, I'm not criticizing the Porsche driver at all. This could easily happen to anyone using turn signals.
