V-Ray is a simple to use benchmark application for your CPU and GPU. It can benchmark them separately and combined.
This video shows you where to download V-Ray without needing to register wich chaosgroup (the developer) and use it anyway.

2. No need for installation. Simply launch the file you downloaded.
3. Select either CPU, GPU or GPU with CPU support and then let it render the images.
3. Turn on HWinfo or any other monitoring tool to monitor temps and usage.
