Covering the entire Road To Ruin album, specifically the "Road Revisited Mix". Barre chords and downstrokes, just like the record. The new 40th Anniversary mix is obviously very different from the original 1978 mix where Johnny and Dee Dee's guitars were largely replaced, but I think this stripped down version is actually stronger, and I think it supports Joey's vocal melody better. This is how the band performed the song live as well. To calm the guitar tone down, I just rolled off some volume on the guitar before it hit the amp. The guitar is a customized strat with a Hallmark "The '67" Mosrite-style pickup, and the amp is the Softube Marshall JMP 2203. Thanks for watching!
