American University of Sharjah (AUS) held it's Spring 2023 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 10 at University City Hall in Sharjah.
Marching to the rousing ‘Towards a New Life’, Op. 35c by Josef Suk, 670 undergraduate and graduate students followed the banners representing their four colleges amid cheers from friends and families, to take their place on the stage and receive their degrees.
The breakdown of the Class of Spring 2023 is as follows:
Total graduating students: 670
Undergraduate students receiving degrees: 572
Graduate students receiving degrees: 98
Male graduates: 282
Female graduates: 388
UAE nationals graduating: 135
A breakdown of the graduating class by college/school is as follows:
College of Architecture, Art and Design: 99 undergraduates and 10 graduates
College of Arts and Sciences: 106 undergraduates and 7 graduates
College of Engineering: 206 undergraduates and 66 graduates
School of Business Administration: 161 undergraduates and 15 graduates
