Autumn has arrived down on the canal, and I'm enjoying many moments of sitting on top of my boat immersing myself in the tranquility and stillness, and the friendly and wise old heron, joins me on my narrowboat. My floating garden gets a new fresh colourful display of flora. Ghosts of the past make an appearance, There's beauty in the beasts! I wake up to a beautiful and mystical misty morning. And I head of to do some jobs on Jazz's boat and mooring. Sit back, relax, and get ready to experience some wonderful scenes of nature, including a fox! This is my journey, my narrowboat life vlog.

The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave
