I know there are a couple methods floating around, but this one worked on my first try with almost no effort. This works for XP, and should work for Vista/7 as well.

Note*: You CAN still use the Dungeon Finder, I've tested and confirmed.
Note**: This does not hide you from Character Friends, or Guild Members via Roster

This should work for any patch, in theory, and it is not against Blizzard's EULA or TOS.

I didn't really expect the video to run on for 5 minutes so I'll throw a quick text guide in the description as well.

IP To block: 12.129.206.130

1. Download, Install, and run PeerBlock.
2. Create a blank text document in 'Install Path\lists\'
3. Name it, save it, close it
4. In PeerBlock open List Manager, Click Add, Name it what you want, select from file, find your text document, select Block
5. Click your list, Click View
6. Click Add. Name it whatever you want. Starting IP should be 0.0.0.0 - Ending IP should be 12.129.206.130
7. Save. Close List Manager. Disable PeerBlock
8. Get to your character selection screen and ENABLE PeerBlock
9. Log on and play in PEACE :D
