I needed a second consumer unit to be dedicated to power things out side the house in the front and rear gardens. I wanted to keep outside devices separate so if there are any problems with accidental damage it shouldn't effect power in the house. Once I have power outside I plan to carry out with my smart home automation project including lighting, camera systems, smart irrigation and water sprinklers...
