The MP3 player is dead, long live the DAP. With Fiio and Apple both having formally exited the non-Android DAP market, there aren't many options left for audiophiles who want a dedicated device for their music. Thankfully, Hiby's still in the game, and they've updated their R3 Pro Saber with a new ESS DAC and increased output power. So are budget players still worth a look? I lived with the Hiby for a few weeks to find out.
