26 workers still missing after an explosion at a Russian coal mine on Thursday, February 25, are now feared dead.
The country's Emergency Services Ministry says high temperatures and lack of oxygen mean there is little chance the miners are still alive. Another ten people are already confirmed dead including five rescue workers. The accident happened in the town of Vorkuta, located north of the Arctic Circle.
