A severe flood has struck numerous regions across Central Europe.
The southern areas of the country have been particularly affected by the torrential rains.
"The situation in many places is very dramatic," stated the Prime Minister in a recent address.
The Kłodzko Valley has experienced the worst flooding in Poland.
Around 1,600 residents from this region have been evacuated to safer areas.
The flooding has left approximately 17,000 people without electricity.
The Prime Minister urged all residents not to underestimate the danger of the floods.
He emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to evacuation orders.
In some regions, movement has become nearly impossible due to flooded roads.
To address this, authorities are deploying Starlink terminals to maintain connectivity.
Restoring road access, which has been severely disrupted by the floods, is now a top priority.
Helicopters have been deployed to support rescue and relief operations.
Additionally, 4,000 soldiers have been placed on standby to assist as needed.
In another incident, a bridge in the town of Głuchołazy was destroyed by the flooding river.
There are concerns that the collapsed bridge may form a barrier, trapping more water.
