It’s pretty hard to keep your chair classes fresh, creative yet still effective. Plus you want it to be just as well rounded as a reformer class. Meaning I aim to blend in flexion, extension, lateral flexion, rotation, etc..... With all that in mind I want a workout that feels like a workout which means I need to create movements that work the core, arm, legs and them glutes! There is a lot that goes into my class plans which is why I take programming quite seriously. Attention to detail is the glue to my dynamic style classes. The devil is in the details!!! I like to add at least one crazy challenge or crescendo of a movement to my classes. I encouraged my clients to only try these “bonus burn” movements if they feel confident.
