CPI(M) leader Subhashini Ali reacted on Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s statement regarding the candidature of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad on April 02. Subhashini Ali said that Rahul Gandhi should fight from Uttar Pradesh, where BJP has biggest stronghold. She also said that the Congress leader should think about the message he is giving by fighting elections from Wayanad.
While speaking to ANI, CPI(M) leader Subhashini Ali said, “Congress Party is claiming that they are leading the joint fight against the BJP. Then why is their biggest leader contesting elections from Kerala, where there is no fight with the BJP. He should fight from Uttar Pradesh, where BJP has stronghold. If he defeats the BJP there, it will have a huge impact. So he should think about what message he is giving by fighting election from Wayanad.”
