I started the video 30 mins in to spare some boredom. lol I landed 2 Tambaqui's with nothing in the 1st 42 minutes to pull off another medal! But there's a rare chance of not even finding one so I can't complain.
Spots 1 and 2 can produce a Unique. A couple of times I caught a unique at each location in the same comp. The 2 times I found 2 of them in a single comp, the biggest of the 4 was 72lbs. The times I've medaled in this comp was both very slow like this one giving me 80+ lb Uni in both. SO NEVER GIVE UP and be patient!! Sometimes I feel you have a better chance at winning if it is slow. At least it seems that way for me anyway. Last night for example I caught 9 of them in total and the Uni was tiny. I suggest you pack a pillow and queue up a good movie while fishing this especially if you get a slow one. Uniques can weigh as much as 96lbs.
It's also a fantastic comp if you're looking for your first medal or an easy win as it only takes 1 solid Unique and 1 small one to place in the top 3. It's similar to other comps like Dancing with Pike, Muskie Topping, Breaking Shad to name a few which is mostly based on pure weight luck once you know the spots. Not on my favorite list for that reason but I will still jump in it if bored and have a good movie to watch. If you win it I suggest it might be a good day to hit the casinos. That's basically it!
