Mr Jamie McGoldrick (former UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen, Palestine, Nepal and Georgia) delivered the 2022 Annual Lecture of the Erasmus Mundus Master in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development (ILGSPD). The Annual Lecture was held on 29 November 2022 at the University of Glasgow.

In this Annual Lecture, drawing on his decades-long experience in the humanitarian sector, Mr McGoldrick offered insights on the current challenges to and future prospects for the humanitarian world with a particular focus on the United Nations' humanitarian work.

The Erasmus Mundus Master in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development (ILGSPD) is a collaborative and multidisciplinary degree delivered by the University of Glasgow, Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), the University of Tartu, Radboud University, Leuphana University of Luneburg, and the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It is supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
