Back in January, The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the recipients of the Padma awards for 2019. 56 of the 112 inspiring personalities, who were selected for the awards, were conferred the prestigious honour today, March 11, by President Ram Nath Kovind. The event took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
Mohanlal Viswanathan, Manoj Bajpayee, Prabhu Deva, Shankar Mahadevan and Late Kader Khan are among the few names from the entertainment industry who received the prestigious award today.
