Tesla claims they made the new Model 3 SR more drag-coefficient, but we wanted to see it ourselves.
All the cars had between 95 and 97% battery, and we manually pre-heated them up to around 33 degrees Celsius for the LPF battery and 41 degrees Celsius for the Panasonic one.
We did 10 launches, and we can say that the Model 3, built in 2022, has the same performance as the Highland since they each won around 5 races between each other.
. We also have a video coming up displaying the actual launch performance from 0 to 100km/h (60mph) on the new Highland, as well as a range test between the 3 vehicles.
