More than 500 cadets representing U.S. and international service academies, ROTC universities and the U.S. Military Academy Preparatory School competed April 20-21 at the 46th annual Sandhurst Military Skills Competition. Marksmanship drills and a land navigation course were completed the day prior, but the bulk of the competition was held at Camp Buckner where 55 nine-member teams performed a series of challenging military tasks along a partly-prescribed 13.2 kilometer course. Various awards were presented during a ceremony at Eisenhower Hall Theatre shortly after the last teams crossed the finish line. Photo by Mike Strasser, West Point Public Affairs
