WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange Freed From UK Prison: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on June 24 walked out of UK’s Belmarsh maximum security prison. Assange's wife Stella broke the news on social media by thanking campaigners for their support, she wrote, "Julian is free!!!!". The 52-year-old agreed to plead guilty in U.S. court to revealing military secrets in exchange for his freedom. This plea bargain agreement will presumably end Assange's nearly 14-year legal drama.
