📌 આ વિડિયોમાં,મહાત્મા જ્યોતીબા ગોવિંદરાવ ફુલે (૧૧ એપ્રિલ ૧૮૨૭ — ૨૮ નવેમ્બર ૧૮૯૦) એક વિચારક, સમાજસુધારક, લેખક, તત્વચિંતક, દાર્શનિક, વિદ્વાન અને સંપાદક હતા. તેઓ અને તેમની પત્ની સાવિત્રિબાઈ ફુલેએ સ્ત્રી શિક્ષણની ચળવળનો પાયો નાખ્યો. આ સિવાય શિક્ષણ, ખેતીવાડી, જ્ઞાતિપ્રથા, સ્ત્રીઓ અને વિધવાઓના ઉત્થાન અને અસ્પૃશ્યતા નિવારણનાં ક્ષેત્રોમાં પણ તેમનું મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ યોગદાન રહ્યું હતું. તેમનું પ્રમુખ યોગદાન સ્ત્રીઓ અને નીચી જ્ઞાતિના મનાતા લોકોના શિક્ષણક્ષેત્રે હતું. પોતાની પત્નીને ભણાવ્યા પછી ૧૮૪૮માં તેમણે ભારતની બાલિકાઓ માટેની ભારતની પ્રથમ શાળા શરૂ કરી હતી. તેમણે ૨૪ સપ્ટેમ્બર ૧૮૭૩ના રોજ પુના ખાતે સત્યશોધક સમાજ નામની સંસ્થાની સ્થાપના કરી હતી.
📌 In This Video,Jyotirao Govindrao Phule (11 April 1827 – 28 November 1890) was an Indian social activist, thinker, anti-caste social reformer and writer from Maharashtra. His work extended to many fields, including eradication of untouchability and the caste system, and women's emancipation. He is mostly known for his efforts in educating women and lower caste people. He and his wife, Savitribai Phule, were pioneers of women education in India. Phule started his first school for girls in 1848 in Pune at Tatyasaheb Bhide's residence or Bhidewada. On 24 September 1873, he, along with his followers, formed the Satyashodhak Samaj (Society of Truth Seekers) to attain equal rights for people from lower castes.
