On June 17th, John Warwicker (Tomato, UK) led a spirited forum with AGDA Victoria members at RMIT. The informal discussion drew heavily from the creative processes involved in his recent book The Floating World, but took many twists and turns as audience members happily responded to the interactive format of the evening. Dealing primarily with his own design philosophies, the conversation was an opportunity to further explore and verbalise the relevance and definition of 'Graphic Design' and to challenge the way one understands and interprets a creative brief.
