Japanese automobile company Nissan has cut more than 9,000 jobs this month and slashed production by nearly 20 per cent.
The drastic measures were to accommodate slow sales in both the US and Japan.
Nissan is reportedly looking for a new long-term investor after the major automaker was given 12 to 14 months to survive.
