This is a very simple tutorial showing the basic steps to follow for a spectral analysis using the XSPEC software ([ Ссылка ]). In this exercise we use one observation with the NuSTAR telescope ([ Ссылка ]) of the X-ray binary system GX 339-4. We show how to load the data, how to visualize it, and how to define a simple model to perform a spectral fit. This video does not cover more advanced topic like error estimations, contour plots, MCMC, etc.
