We join a journalist from the French publication Le Monde and Pluto, the community leader, as they traverse the Tiger Bay area, central Georgetown. Around 01:15 we see the construction yard of Saipem, an Oil&Gas company supplying parts to the ExxonMobil operations offshore. Shortly after, in the background and across the Demerara river, can be spotted the construction of the new artificial island soon to become the US$300 million 400 hectares Vreed-en-Hoop Shore Base (VESHI).
