Tibetan Lark sings and displays in Ladakh | Bird Call and Song:: Tibetan Lark (Melanocorypha maxima) is usually found between 4300 - 4600 m in NW India. It lives in wet grassy areas usually by the side of rivers and marshes. Like all lark species, its call and song are characteristic. But Tibetan Lark has a wide repertoire of notes and it is a good mimic of other species.
