The UN Middle East envoy has warned violence between Israel and the Palestinians is at risk of escalating into a "full-scale war".
The escalating conflict follows Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, which health officials say killed at least 49 people, including 14 children.
The unrest spread to Tel Aviv where Palestinians fired 210 rockets, killing six people from Israel.
