Yojana is a development monthly published by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. It has been published since 1957. It is a theme-based journal that provides articles authored by reputed experts and civil servants on socio-economic issues in the broader framework of government policies. Therefore, this monthly magazine becomes very important for UPSC Civil Services Examination. It becomes very relevant both in terms of Prelims and Mains. Many points could be taken from the magazine for mains preparation.
However, there is a big challenge when it comes to the actual use of Yojana in the preparation.
