Low water can be as much of a curse as a coloured raging torrent. Its difficult to get near the fish when they are in a foot of water and on def-con 5. The answer can often be a dry fly or a wet fly but when they are stubbornly stuck to the bottom of the river bed you need another option.
This fly is not so heavy that it fails to move naturally but heavy enough to get the depth required. Play with the colours of the thread to get different effects, why not give it a go and let me know how you get on in the comments below.
