New Delhi: Differences within the CPM central leadership over its relations with the Congress continues to simmer. The main difference is over the draft political resolution to be presented at the party congress. The politburo of the party will be held on Saturday to discuss the draft document. The Yechury faction demands that even if there is no political alliance or cooperation, the party should have an understanding. But the Prakash Karat faction is totally against this and bats for zero relations with Congress.
