UPDF spokesperson Col. Felix Kulaigye has admitted that the slow response from other African states to deploy in Somalia under the African Mission in Somalia has negatively affected the fight against the Alshabab. Kulaigye who was speaking at a US african Command symposium for Journalists and Public Affairs Officers said that the limited troops in Somalia has made the Ugandan Defence Forces to over deploy in Somalia an issue which has raised questions on whether Uganda has any interests in the Horn of Africa.
