Anil Parab, a minister in the Maharashtra government cabinet and senior Shiv Sena leader, was raided by the Enforcement Directorate in a fresh case lodged against him by the agency. Top sources told India Today that seven premises in Maharashtra linked to Anil Parab were raided after a case was registered against him. The raids were conducted in connection with a resort connected to Anil Parab which was earlier searched by the Income Tax department.
In March this year, the IT department carried out a search operation for a cable operator in Mumbai, a transport department employee and the businesses related to him.
Searches were carried out at 26 locations in Mumbai, Pune, Sangli and Ratnagiri.
