Two people were killed and dozens were injured in a car ramming that ravaged a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.
The German state premier confirmed that the perpetrator was caught, identifying him as a doctor from Saudi Arabia who acted alone.
Regional authorities are investigating the incident as a "suspected attack".
