I don't normally like to talk about battles - I find that it's too easy to get bogged down in the minutia of troop movements, and it's not interesting to read, write about, or listen to. However, there's a particular aspect of The Battle of Germantown - Lt. Colonel Thomas Musgrave's defense of Chew House, - that I actually do find fascinating and I wanted to talk about it. The fact that the 40th features heavily may or may not also be a contributing factor....
