Today in 2011, the Space Shuttle left earth for the last time.

Gently detail and color-enhanced, and backed with a custom composite soundtrack, I hope that this short look at the final launch of the Space Shuttle may, if only slightly, pay tribute to the greatest feat of aeronautical engineering the world has yet known.
