I take another look at a alcohol burner that I made from a screw top aluminum stash/spice/tea container.
The boil times on my first burner was not great so I added a turbo ring made from a pop can which improved the performance. I went from a 9:00 minute boil time for one cup of water to 7:30.
Turbo ring: 5 1/8 by 1 inch, first hole center is 3/8 inch from the end and then 3/4 inch centers there after.
