At 6:36 AM in Kyiv, air raid sirens signaled the launch of at least two MiG-31K jets, followed by the announcement of incoming Kinzhal missiles. Ukrainian air defenses quickly engaged after enduring hours of overnight drone assaults across the country.
Though the missiles missed direct targets, falling debris struck four districts, with the Holosiivskyi district suffering the worst. Tragically, a 53-year-old man was killed, dozens were injured, and several remain hospitalized.
The attack also caused damage to six embassies, including those of Albania, Argentina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Palestine, and Portugal. Homes and businesses were heavily affected, as residents and emergency crews worked to clear debris, secure the area, and extinguish fires caused by gas leaks.
This is not an escalation—it’s Russia’s daily terrorism. Each night, Russia launches swarms of Iranian Shahed drones across Ukraine, perpetuating this cycle of destruction.
