This shrimppattern is a fly from danish flyfisher, flytyer and owner of the danish shop Nordic Anglers Daniel D. Holm. Daniel needed a base shrimp-pattern that could be adapted to be fished for his beloved sea run brown trouts - as well as bonefish and other warmwater species. The main thing is it needed to be fairly simple, has the correct profile and an very important thing is the boar brizzles that gives the fly the right movement in the water. The color can vary a lot, but it is important to add a few materials containing some UV-materials. Daniel says about the fly “It just works - it just preforms and outfishes a lot of other patterns that I know”.
