The mandatory Social Distancing and Isolation have forced us to cancel classes temporarily. So children from our dance school are recording videos at home for the adavu batch students. This way, everyone stays in touch with dancing. This not only helps them brush up on basics but also to stay fit and stay sane in lockdown. Spend your Janata Curfew day with Shrraddhanjali.
We're happy to share one more such video with all of you. Let us know your feedback and views. Drop an email to shrraddhanjali@gmail.com with feeback or enquiries for online classes which are handled for bharatanatyam and nattuvangam.
Wash your hands, stay safe and keep dancing to beat the boredom and stay fit.
The dancer in the video is Abinaya, a student of Shrraddhanjali.
The adavus are those taught at Shrraddhanjali. Shrraddhanjali was established in the year 1993 by Guru Smt. Madhuri Balram. Guru Smt. Latha S. Rajagopalan, daughter and disciple of Smt. Madhuri Balram has been teaching at Shrraddhanjali for 22 years. The students of Shrraddhanjali have excelled in Bharatanatyam exams of different univerities and organisations and have earned acclaim for the school and themselves, wherever they perform.
The audio is from Nupura Nadam recited by Madurai Shri R. Muralidaran.
