Midnight Groovers is a band I grew up enjoying their hard hitting, "bandeleros" approach to music. They brought a powerful approach to delivering the message in song. I got deeply into their music because of the late Henry's drumming. In St Lucia at the time, I was just getting into music and playing in the catholic church. The choir members would look at me crazy when i do the same drum fills Henry did to a simple calypso version of songs like Hosana in the highest. LOL! I love doing these tributes and it allows me to respect and pay full homage to the Cadasse Kings of Dominica. Long live Groovers music
