RECIPES/INGREDIENTS:
For the fish pie dough:
* 250 g of flour
* 125 g of butter
* 70 ml of cold water
* 1/2 beaten egg
* 1 teaspoon (tsp) of vanilla flavour
* 1 teaspoon of baking powder
* 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
* A pinch of salt
For the fish pie filling:
* 1 handful of chopped carrot
* 1 handful of chopped potatoes, parboiled
* 1 handful of chopped bell pepper
* Flour paste
* chopped onion and garlic
* 200 g of cooked fish
* Egg wash

METHODS:
* Mix the flour, nutmeg, salt, baking powder & butter together.
* Make a well in the middle and add the beaten eggs and cold water. Keep mixing until a smooth ball of dough is formed. Wrap with a cling film and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
* Meanwhile, make the fillings by sweating off the onion in little oil and then adding garlic, cooked fish , chopped vegetables & flour paste. Keep mixing until thickened.
* Roll out the dough into meat pie shapes and then top with the fillings.
* Seal the edges with egg wash, glaze the top with egg wash & then bake at 180 degrees centigrade for about 30 minutes until nice and golden.
* Serve warm and enjoy!
