I have long heard tales of the Staedtler Wopex pencil and finally got a couple to try from my pencil pal Duffy Moon (MAMO). My previous experiences with plastic/resin/fake wood pencils have been negative, but I tried to keep an open mind when trying the Wopex. Made in Germany, this hexagonal pencil is graded a #2/HB, with a pea-green barrel, silver ferrule and white eraser. I compared it with other Staedtler offerings like the Norica, Norris and Tradition.
