Although more than 28.8 million Americans will experience one during their lifetime, eating disorders remain stigmatized. This presentation, held on March 8, explored ways in which we can raise awareness about eating disorders and reduce stigma, as well as ways to identify signs of a potential eating disorder and how to find effective treatment for those we love. The workshop, presented in partnership with Eating Disorders Resource Center and Stanford School of Medicine, brought together the following panelists:
- Dr. Danielle Colborn, PhD, Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford School of Medicine
- Amia Nash, MS, Doctoral Student at UC Berkeley (and eating disorder survivor and advocate)
- Paraag Marathe, President of 49ers Enterprises and EVP of Football
